Without question, GTAVI is the most highly anticipated piece of media of the year, not just in the gaming industry. After Rockstar Games announced last November that the release would face yet another postponement, fans feared GTAIV might never release.
But fear not, these worries can be put at ease. Thanks to Rockstar’s parent company, Take Two Interactive, which had a recent earnings call on February 3rd.
Strauss Zelnick, chairman and CEO of Take Two Interactive, Said:
“I feel good about it. Very good about it.”
Confirming he was confident Rockstar Games would meet the November launch date. He then added that marketing would begin for the game this summer.

Take Two said during the live call that people will be in awe with Rockstar’s advertising, “I think you’ll be pretty astonished by the creativity that Rockstar’s marketing team brings to consumers in the coming months”.
Rumours were doing the rounds before this call that GTAVI would not see a physical copy at launch but again, this rumour was squashed and it was confirmed that there will be releases of both physical and digital copies of the game.
In an interview with GamesIndustry.Biz, Strauss Zelnick confirmed that Rockstar Games have not used AI in the development of the next entry in the GTA franchise, and this game has been built completely from scratch, piece by piece.
Both GTAVI Trailer 1 and Trailer 2 have over 420 million views combined, and Trailer 2 views surpassed over 475 million views across all of Rockstars media channels in its first day, says The Hollywood Reporter in an exclusive interview last year.
