Are Arsenal Bottling the Title Again
By James Farquharson
It was a difficult night for Arsenal last night as a late goal denied them all three points against bottom side Wolves and put pressure on their title credentials.
An absolute curler of a finish from Hugo Bueno and a 94th minute Tom Edozie goal cancelled out Bukayo Saka and Piero Hincapie’s strikes.

Arsenal remain five points clear of challenging Man City, but two league draws in a row against Brentford and Wolves respectively have really changed the momentum of the season for the gunners.
Arsenal have been an absolute monster of a team this season and have by far been the best team in the league Liverpool and Man City not flying on all fronts. Mikel Arteta's side are still in all four competitions this season with them sitting first in the Premier League and Champions league, they are also into the fifth round of the FA Cup and have a trip to Wembley lined up in the Carabao Cup final where they will face Man City next month.
The number of games on their plate could be a reason for this drop off in form, but fans are in the belief that this is Arsenal “Bottling” the title again. Arsenal have made a habit of putting themselves in a great position but always falling at the final hurdle.
In the 2022-23 season Arsenal were top for 248 days and even had an eight-point gap in April. Following draws to Liverpool, West Ham, Southampton and a defeat to Man City that lead was overturned and Pep Guardiola and City regained top spot and stole the title of Arsenal.

Rival fans are praying that there is a repeat of that this season, but the jury is still out on this Arsenal who need to pull together and put the “Bottle” accusations to bed and finally get over the hump and win their first Premier League title since 2004.
