Spotify Wrapped 2025, What’s everyone getting?

Spotify is back with their yearly ‘Spotify wrapped’ for its users. Spotify wrapped tracks and records your year of listening where it looks at factors such as new artists you've listened to this year, your favourite artist and album, how many minutes you've used Spotify and your listening age. The anticipation always builds around the date of its release as people love to share their listening choices onto a variety of social media, The feature is available for premium and free users however free users have limited access to certain features. 

Since everyone's Spotify wrapped is personal to every person such as the wand in Harry Potter no two being the same, we wanted to find out what the fellow journalism students had in their Spotify wrapped. 

Emma, 17, a 1st year student at the City Of Glasgow College, said: “My top artist in my Spotify wrapped was Fontaines D.C and top album was Everything you’ve come to expect by The Last Shadow Puppets, and I had average listening age of 76.” 

Jamie Findlay, 20, a 2nd year student at the City Of Glasgow College, said: “My top artist was Oasis with Illmatic by NAS, and my average listening age is 50 years old.” 

Ellis, 17, a 1st year student at the City Of Glasgow College, said: “My Chemical Romance took the top spot for my 2025 Spotify wrapped artist with Shed by Title fight and my average listening age is 37.” 

Che McGuire, 19, a 2nd year student at the City Of Glasgow College, said: “My top artist was Frank Ocean with my top album being Channel Orange and my average listening age is 29.” 

Jenny, 18, a 2nd year student at the City Of Glasgow College, said: “My top artist was Lana Del Ray and my top album ended up being Death Metal by Panchiko and my average listening age is 85.”
