From five nights in Glasgow to a historic return to Knebworth, Oasis are preparing to bring Britpop back to the big stage as their reunion story continues.

The countdown is officially on. Oasis is returning to the stage in 2027, giving fans another chance to experience one of Britain’s most iconic rock bands live.

Following the success of their highly anticipated reunion tour in 2025, brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher have announced Oasis Live ’27, a series of 38 shows across the UK, Ireland, mainland Europe and the United States. The tour will begin at Glasgow’s Celtic Park on 21 May before travelling internationally and finishing with a run of shows in Knebworth in September.

For Scottish fans, the announcement brings particularly exciting news. The Glasgow shows will give fans the opportunity to sing along to the band’s biggest hits in one of Scotland’s largest stadiums.

From Wonderwall to Don’t Look Back in Anger, to Champagne Supernova, Oasis have created a catalogue of songs that have continued to resonate with listeners decades after their releases. Their music has become part of British popular culture, with familiar choruses uniting generations of fans.

The announcement follows the band’s remarkable return to live performances in 2025, ending a 16-year wait for fans after their split in 2009. The reunion brought Liam and Noel back on stage together, reigniting interest in their music and proving that the demand for Oasis had not disappeared.

However, it is the band’s return to Knebworth that may prove to be one of the most significant moments of the upcoming tour.

In August 1996, Oasis performed two legendary concerts at Knebworth House in Hertfordshire, playing to approximately 250,000 people across the two nights. The performances became defining moments of the Britpop era, representing the band’s enormous popularity at the height of their success. Returning to the venue in September 2027 will give fans the chance to witness a new chapter in that history, more than 30 years after those original concerts.

The tour will also take the band to Manchester, Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Boston, Las Vegas and Slane Castle in Ireland. Richard Ashcroft, best known as the frontman of the Verve, has been announced as the special guest for the shows, adding another recognisable name for British music to the line-up.

Despite the excitement, getting tickets has been a challenge for fans hoping to secure their place. Demand for the band’s reunion performances was enormous, and Oasis Live ’27 has already sold out, according to the band’s official website. Fans are being warned to avoid fraudulent social media accounts and to use authorised resale platforms, with resale tickets expected to become available nearer the events.

The scale of the announcement highlights the lasting appeal of a band whose influence extends far beyond the 1990s. For longtime fans, the tour offers another opportunity to revisit the music that defined an era. For younger audiences, it provides a chance to experience a band whose reputation has been passed down through generations.

Oasis Live ’27 is more than another series of concerts. It is a continuation of one of British music’s most talked about reunions, bringing together nostalgia, musical history and a fanbase that has waited years to see the Gallagher brothers share a stage again.

With Glasgow set to host the opening shows and Knebworth providing a historic finale, the summer of 2027 is shaping up to be another landmark moment for Oasis.
