Keo are back and better than ever.

The rising indie-grunge band Keo, headlined their biggest sold out Scotland show on Tuesday the 27th of October, showcasing exactly why they deserve their sudden surge of fame.

Keo are on a roll, with their first album being released at the end of September, including a re-recorded version of their iconic song ‘Thorn.’

The band are celebrating the release with an additional sold out record store tour, before kicking off their UK wide tour in late October.

The four-piece from London first headlined a Glasgow show in October 2025 at the Art School, a 500-person capacity venue. Which is nothing compared to their O2 academy shows now with a capacity of 2,550.

This clearly portrays how big of a jump they have taken in less than a year, a huge step for a band who only released their debut EP in the middle of last year.

The night began with rising opener band from Dublin, Brooki who warmed up the crowd with some of their infectious unreleased music, a full circle moment for Brooki as they toured with Keo last October.

The tension was building up waiting for Keo to step into the spotlight. Playing in the darkness while waiting for Keo was an audio sample of Charlie Chaplins iconic speech from the film ‘Great Dictator’.

Following this was Keo’s staple walk-on song, ‘Love spreads’ by the Stone Roses, the bass of the song riling up the crowd for what was still yet to come.

Keo started by kicking off the set with the opening song of the album ‘Be Happy,’.

The energy that was surging through the crowd during the set was incomparable to any Keo gig I’ve ever been to, and considering the album has only been out for a month, the crowd really knew how to chant and sing along with the songs.

Just before preforming their controversial song, ‘That’s Me,’ that has faced a lot of backlash online, Finn said: “I don’t care what people say online. Enjoy yourself.”.

When that first note played, screams filled the venue and a mosh pit was formed immediately within the crowd, the adrenaline that ran through the venue during this song was unexplainable and irreplaceable.

Closing the night with their unreleased song ‘Only We Know’, every person in the venue sang and knew the songs word for word.

The crowd knowing their unreleased song so perfectly shows just how impactful their music is and how many people appreciate and resonate with it.

Keo are due to finish their tour tomorrow night, Friday 30th of October, in their hometown of London.

Despite their current tour being over, they are scheduled to tour in early 2027. Including two dates in Glasgow, 2nd, and 3rd of March in the Barrowlands.
