Anna Feeney is a 22 year-old primary school teacher in Dumbarton, Scotland.

Discussing climate change and the involvement of women and girls in climate action, she said: “I think it’s getting very bad very quickly, but people don’t take it seriously enough, me included. Lots of people have the view their small actions won’t impact the world, however I know deep down it will. Both genders should be equally involved as it is such a massive issue, I think we need all the help we can get.”

Martine Nergaard is a 22 year old actor in Norway.

Discussing climate change and the involvement of women and girls in climate action, she said: “I’m scared, basically, I feel that it’s happening and its happening faster than we think it is and its affecting us slowly but surely and the people who should be taking action aren’t.

“I don’t like to think about it but I am scared and worried because its going to affect third world countries first and world leaders usually don’t care unless its happening to them. But its also happening to everyone everywhere and yet no action is taken.

“The fact that responsibility is again put on women is beyond me. Everyone has to take action and these world leaders and huge corporations are making us responsible and giving us most of the chores to fix it. When in reality its not going to get better unless the bigger industries make the change. No matter how much we reduce our carbon footprint we’re doomed unless they stop doing the things causing the most damage. It’s everyone’s responsibility not just women.”
