The joint event between the Students Association and Student Services will run over two days, the 28th of January at City Campus and the 29th on the Riverside Campus.
Eddie Buggy, a Counselling Coordinator at the college said: “The event will have an underlying theme of if we settle into ourselves rather than re-invent ourselves, we’ll get where we want to go.”
The Counselling team will also have a stall that will be focused on rest, reflection and recharging.
They incredibly popular Therapet sessions return which allows students to interact with therapy dogs, while beauty students will be offering treatments at both events.
Holistic wellness therapies such as hands and arm massages and seated head, neck and shoulder massages are very effective at helping people to unwind. The treatments take about 10 minutes, and will be conducted by HND complimentary therapy year one students.
Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH) will be at City Campus on the 28th and will be offering their services and advice.
Gregor Cree, the active campus coordinator will be present to recruit people to take part in this year’s Kilt Walk.
Skills Development Service will be hosting a stall on both days along with the Students Association who will also have their own stall.
The City campus stalls will be located in the gallery space with the Therapet dogs in the Student Association. At the Riverside Campus, stalls will be set up in the foyer space with the Therapet dogs also in the Student Association.
