The Emmy award winning star and creator of ‘Baby Reindeer’ Richard Gadd’s new BBC drama has been filming in the Port Glasgow area this week.

The new drama titled ‘Half Man’ centres around two brothers Ruben (played by Gadd) and Niall (Played by Jamie Bell). When Ruben shows up out of the blue at Niall’s wedding, a cascade of violence ensues that will throw viewers back through the story of their lives.

The BBC has described the drama as “spanning almost 40 years from the 1980s to the present day, this ambitious series will cover the highs and lows of the brothers' relationship, from them meeting as teenagers to their falling out as adults – with all the good, bad, terrible, funny, angry, and challenging moments along the way.”

The show has been filming in the Gibshill area of Port Glasgow this week on May 26th and May 27th. The series is yet another addition to the growing list of television productions that have been filmed in Scotland over the past few years, including ‘Andor’, ‘Good Omens’ and ‘The Traitors’.
