Over this Summer, many artists will be descending upon Scotland for the Summer concert season, but here are five that are some of the most highly anticipated by fans.
Oasis at Murrayfield Stadium – August 8th, 9th and 12th
The Oasis reunion made headlines last year, with the reunion being something that many fans believed would never happen, but alas it did, and the Gallagher brothers will be playing Murrayfield Stadium in August for three nights.
Lana Del Rey at Hampden Stadium – June 26th
Lana Del Rey will be playing her first ever stadium show in Scotland this June when she takes over Scotland’s national football stadium in June. This show is highly anticipated by Scottish Lana fans, as she hasn’t played a show in Scotland since 2013.
Chappell Roan at the Royal Highland Showgrounds – August 26th and 27th
Chappell Roan will be returning to Scotland this summer for Edinburgh’s Summer Sessions after her sold out show at Glasgow’s O2 Academy last September. These shows are extremely highly anticipated by fans, as many were unable to get tickets for her show in Glasgow last year.
Wallows at the O2 Academy Glasgow – August 19th
Wallows will be bringing their Model and More tour to Glasgow’s O2 Academy this August, during a small run of shows while they are back in the UK for Reading and Leeds. Many fans are highly anticipating this show as it will be the first chance for Scottish fans to hear songs from their new EP ‘More’ live. They are returning to Scotland after their amazing two shows in Edinburgh last October.
TRNSMT at Glasgow Green – July 11th, 12th and 13th
As always, TRNSMT will be taking over Glasgow Green this July, with headliners, 50 Cent, The Script, Biffy Clyro, Fontaines D.C, Snow Patrol and Gracie Abrams. With TRNSMT being Scotland’s biggest music festival, many fans are looking forward to seeing such a massive range of artists over the course of the three days of the festival.
Overall, there are a vast array of concerts and festivals coming to Scotland this summer, with such a broad range of artists, there is truly something for everyone to look forward to.
