What your coffee order says about you

Let’s be real – our coffee orders are more than just caffeine, they’re personality statements, small acts of daily self-expression. Whether you’re sipping a double shot of espresso or nursing an oat-milk latte, your go-to drink might say more about you than you think.
Here’s a semi-accurate, highly unscientific breakdown of what your favourite coffee might reveal about you.
Black coffee
You’re a minimalist. You don’t need frills or fuss to feel satisfied. You probably read actual books and wake up early (on purpose). Some people think you’re intimidating, you call it “efficient”.
Latte
Comfort is your love language. You like things warm, smooth, and just a little bit fancy. You probably have a cozy throw blanket collection and a Pinterest board for every mood. You also end every text you send with an “xx”.
Cappuccino
You’re balanced – bold but approachable. You know how to enjoy the little things in life without going over the top. You’re the friend people trust for advice and good restaurant recommendations. You probably know your sun, moon, and rising signs.
Iced coffee (even in winter)
You don’t care about the rules. You have strong opinions and at least one tote bag with a sarcastic quote on it. Your phone is at 12 percent and you refuse to carry a charger. People might call you chaotic, you prefer “spontaneous”.

Espresso shots
You’re not here to play. You’ve got goals, deadlines, and probably three side projects. You like your coffee like you like your calendar – intense and efficient. There’s a good chance you say things like “let’s circle back” in casual conversations.
Pumpkin spice latte
You enjoy seasonal traditions and don’t mind a little extra flavour in your life. You probably look forward to autumn and find comfort in familiar routines. People might joke about your order, but you know what you like and you’re not here to impress anyone.
Flat white
You appreciate subtlety. You probably enjoy indie films and listen to playlists titled “coffee shop vibes”. You’re calm in a way that makes people wonder what your secret is (spoiler: it’s caffeine).
Whatever your go-to order is, there’s no wrong way to caffeinate. Drink what makes you happy. Just... don’t call it expresso.
