North Pole preparing to go ‘hooves up’

By Iain McLean

The North Pole is gearing up for Santa’s 2025 flight, according to recently released satellite images, with activity increasing every night.

The images also show elves reportedly attending to nine reindeer, gearing them up and even polishing one’s nose, ahead of the Christmas Eve flight.

Another detail flagged up shows a runway being lit up with giant, glowing candy canes on and a giant sleigh being moved into position at the start.

The Workshop Elf’s Union released a plan for the annual journey, showing Santa will arrive at the Pacific Islands first, according to a special chart.

The Union also confirmed that the Naughty and Nice list has been checked, even twice, to confirm what stops Mr Claus makes along the way.

They reminded the public: “If the bells on the sleigh wake any boy or girl up on Christmas Eve, to remain where they lay.”

This is because, after all, Santa just needs some cookies and milk, and he’ll let you know he stopped by.

However, if you’re quick and peek out your window once Santa’s laid out all your presents, you may see him a pass in front of the moon as he begins to fly.

Remember, no peeking while he’s at your homes or you’ll upset the gnomes!
