The new Jujutsu Kaisen Execution Arc premiered in the UK on 14 November 2025 and since its release their loyal fanbase have been flooding to see it. Based off the manga series written by Gege Atukami, this movie follows on from the last season and present’s the universe post- Shibuya Arc the final fight in the series.

Following the cast, we see a post-apocalyptic Japan, with desolate buildings and wreckage everywhere all while Yuji Itadori, is trying to escape and evade his convictions and re- kindle with his fellow sorcerers. With fan favourites such as Suguru Geto, and Toji Fushiguro, also making a prominent appearance and playing key roles to the film’s storyline.

Going into this movie I had high expectations. I had heard rumours about the film, but nothing confirmed and can proudly say it was amazing. From the sleek animation coming out of MAPPA studios, to the exceptionally deep storylines that show character progression in its rawest form.

It truly ticks all the boxes for what a manga adapted movie should look like and not a cheap imitation for a cash grab. The beautiful mix of modern and traditional music in the movie adds to the overall atmosphere constantly keeping movie goers on the edge of their seats.

With a stacked cast featuring Megumi Hayashibara, who’s acting career contains highlights such as One Piece and Yusa Koji, who's voice acted for Dr Stone and Bleach. The film leaves no stone unturned for every character each with their own rich storyline that develops as the movie goes on so you feel like there isn't any side characters. This movie has something for every Jujutsu Kaisen fan.

Overall, the movie itself is spectacular. It's began the long journey to pave what a manga adapted movie should feature exciting fight scenes, heart wrenching moments, an appropriate amount of blood and gore with an ending that brings any audience to a standing applause.

Surprisingly the movie is available at cinemas throughout the UK as in the past we’ve seen major cinema companies missing out on the chance and therefore limiting fans to have to find somewhere showing the film. Clocking in at 1 hour and 53 minutes it's a fantastic film that takes its time to truly immerse its audience within the Jujutsu Kaisen universe.

The movie is available at Vue, Cineworld, Odeon and Showcase venues throughout the UK.
