Top 5 concerts to look out for in 2026

By Sean Docherty

They say, “No Scotland, No Party” and 2026 has a whole host of top concerts that will bring the noise. Whether you like to dance or rock your socks off, there is a big selection to choose from in the new year. Here are the top five concerts in 2026.

Honourable Mention, TRNSMT 2026, Glasgow Green

It’s not a summer in Scotland without TRNSMT. Being held from 19 to 21 of June, this year TRNSMT is back with another very strong lineup. Headliners such as the legendary Richard Ashcroft and Kasabian will surely bring the noise this year, but it’s the return of Lewis Capaldi that has people excited. Other artists such as Dylan John Thomas, CMAT, The Fratellis and Amy MacDonald are just some of the other amazing artists taking the TRNSMT stage this year.

5. Clubland, OVO Hydro & P&J Live

Next May, Clubland returns to the Scottish stage in both Glasgow and Aberdeen. The likes of Cascada and GBX are among those in the Arena Tour’s lineup. This will surely be an electric atmosphere to kickstart the Scottish summer with a night full of dance classics!

4. The Prodigy, OVO Hydro and Royal Highland Showgrounds

The Prodigy makes their long-awaited return to Scotland this April with shows in both Glasgow and Edinburgh. Their last appearance came in November 2023 where they sold out the Hydro. Their long absence hasn’t gone unnoticed with fans crying out to see them whether it be at a concert or a festival. The fans have waited long enough; these are two gigs that shouldn’t be missed.

3. Bon Jovi, Scottish Gas Murrayfield

They need no introduction. The legendary 80’s rock band Bon Jovi make their return to the grand stage after, what will be, a four-year absence from the global stage and an 18-year absence from Scotland. It is a certainty that Bon Jovi will rock the Scottish crowd once more. With hits like ‘Livin on a Prayer’ and ‘You Give Love a Bad Name’, they will certainly roll back the years and get the crowd rocking. For the older generation, it’s a trip down memory lane, but for the younger generation, it’s a once in a lifetime experience.

2. Calvin Harris, Hampden Park

One of the most popular DJ’s and artists in the entire world, Calvin Harris will play Hampden Park in Glasgow at the start of August. After collaboration with some of the most popular artists in the world such as Sam Smith and Ellie Goulding, Calvin Harris returns to the national stadium for the first time in four years. A global phenomenon playing a homecoming gig on the biggest stage in Scotland will make for a wonderful night under the Hampden lights.

1. Pitbull, Bellahouston Park

Mr world-wide is in Scotland for just the second time after his first appearance in 2018. This year’s Summer Sessions looks like it will be another great success, with the concert already selling out with eight months to go. This is another must see artist that knows a thing or two about putting on a show. It’s a concert that is going to make you want to boogie, jiggle, wiggle and dance like the roof is on fire!
