AJ vs The Problem Child in Winter Bout

Yes, it’s true, two-time heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua looks set to fight former YouTube personality Jake Paul next month. Eddie Hearn confirmed that both camps were in talks, with a date soon to be announced.
Joshua hasn’t laced his gloves since last September when he was defeated by Daniel Dubois at Wembley. It has been tough for the Englishman in recent years with age starting to get the better of him and many believing his best years are behind him.

Tough competitors such as Dubois and Usyk have outclassed him in recent times and put an end to his dominance in the division.
Hearn has also mentioned the prospect of the long-awaited bout for Joshua with Tyson Fury which has been talked about for years but has yet to come to fruition.
For Jake Paul this is a brilliant opportunity. The American has been one of the biggest talking points in boxing in the past few years with his polarizing personality. Paul was set to fight Gervonta Davis in Miami but following allegations of Davis assaulting a woman in a strip club came to light, it was then called off.

Although the fixture will likely be an exhibition fight it will still be an enthralling matchup with both looking to put on a show. Joshua simply must dominate this fight, and a poor performance could put an end to any potential future fights with the best in the world and maybe even his career.
