Dispatch is a 2025 decision-based game, developed by AdHoc Studio which is a team of former Telltale game developers. It was released on PlayStation 5 (PS5) and PC. The game consists of eight episodes, with two coming out each week. It was released on October 22nd and will be completed on November 12th 2025.
What makes this game stand out is the award-winning actors and gaming influencers that have played games like Dispatch. The main protagonist is Mecha Man/ Robert Roberston, voiced by Aaron Paul who is most know for his role as Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad. More notable voice actors are Sean Mcloughlin, better known as Jacksepticeye, Charlie White known as Moist Critical and Matthew Mercer.
Wolf Among Us developed by Telltale games, is also a decision-based game. Where the main character, Bigby wolf, is investigating the murder of a woman, which pulls him into the mysteries of Fabletown. However, gamers tend to think that their decisions don’t have much impact within the game, that the villain is too predictable and the combat is clunky.

So, what makes this game better than Wolf Among us? Even with the lack of action, this game is extremely interesting and has you wanting more. You’re faced with several different dialogue options and it’s up to you to decide what happens. All of your decisions matter, even the small ones. Depending on dialogue you choose the character you’re speaking to will remember what you’ve said or done. The pace of the game is smooth, and the dialogue is great, it’s funny and sincere which makes it enjoyable to play and extremely memorable. The characters all have interesting personalities and are distinct from one another meaning it’s full of different experiences.
We follow Robert Robertsons story, he’s a powerless human in a world of superhumans, therefore he uses the Mecha Man suit as his main source of power. But after a fight with the main villain Shroud, he’s announced as “dead” because his suit is broken. He’s noticed by Blonde Blazer, a superhero at The Superhero Network (SDC), which is an organisation that lets civilians pay for a superhero guard dog. Blonde Blazer lets Robert work at the call centre at SDC to help the superheroes with their missions. Robert works with a team of former villains hoping to help them change from their old ways.

While you choose between difficult dialogue choices your main gameplay involves assigning the best heroes for certain jobs, as they all have different specialties. You have a percentage rate based on how well those characters did after the mission. Occasionally you will have to hack, which consists of using the arrow keys to get through a passage while you race against the clock.
Although this game isn’t complete, it’s been great so far, with good graphics and funny dialogue. So far, the choices you make seem to have made impact within the storyline. There are also two possible romance options making the game more interesting to play. There’s no knowing where this game will go in future episodes, but the future of Dispatch looks bright.
