Pokemon Legends Z-A is the second Pokemon Legends game after Pokemon Legends Arceus released in 2022

On Wednesday 27th the Pokémon company premiered a live stream on YouTube to celebrate the franchise's 28th anniversary called “Pokémon Day” which showed a plethora of game announcements for the year calendar of releases with announcements about new Scarlet and Violet Tera Raid battles, Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket. and updates for mobile games like Pokémon Go, Pokémon Sleep, and Pokémon Masters EX, Pokémon Cafe Remix, and Pokémon Unite.

The game is a spiritual sequel to Pokémon X & Y which was originally released worldwide 12th of October 2013.

The teaser which was shown at the end of the stream didn't show off much besides teasing futuristic blueprint-style art which mainly focused on the layout of Lumiose City, which was the central hub "big" city in Pokémon X & Y. Nintendo said the game will be "set entirely within Lumiose City", which leaves a lot of questions.

Mega Evolutions seems to be making a return with a logo appearing at the end of the teaser trailer. In the originals, Mega Evolution was the most celebrated and memorable feature of the Generation 6 games with fans reacting ecstatically for the mechanic to return.

With no reveal of gameplay, audiences are speculating how the game will progress what the past game “Pokémon Legends Arceus” has established with a new open-world map and if the 2025 title will evolve what was done before or stick with a traditional turn-based system.
